In order to ensure that your chosen window treatment is a success, take a complete set of measurements for each window. Use a good measuring tape and you can ask someone to assist you.
Use a step ladder to get higher measurements. Always double check the figures you took as your measurement. Round off the widths and length to the nearest whole number. This mostly applies in blinds or shears.
Curtains are normally placed under curtain boxes or on iron rods, poles that are attached to the wall with brackets. The owner of the house is encouraged to decide where to place the rods and the length they desire. Allow an inch or two for the rods so that your curtains have more room for design, and also get a suitable length for the curtains.
